Asif Raza Mir & Shahnaz Sheikh Meet After 40 Years
Asif Raza Mir and Shahnaz Sheikh starred in the PTV classic Tanhaiyan. PTV’s golden era gave us some of the best dramas and those classics are still watched and love all over the country. Tanhaiyan is one such drama which was later remade but the charm of the first one still stands till today and fans love it.
Asif Raza Mir played Zain while Shahnaz Sheikh played Zara, the OG romantic couple of the Pakistani television. They are still loved but the two actors behind these iconic characters have not been in touch for the last 40 years. Their reunion happened on the very set where they shot the last scene of Tanhaiyan in the PTV building as they were both invited on Star & Style hosted by Asim Yar Tiwana.
Asif Raza Mir and Shahnaz Sheikh revealed that they never met again after filming that show. It has been 40 years now and they are finally meeting on Star & Style. Shahnaz then shared that this happened to her with many people whom she was not able to meet in the past years while she had a great rapport with them.
Here is the reunion of the OG Zain and Zara aka Asif Raza Mir and Shahnaz Sheikh on Tanhaiyan:
Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is one of the most famous writers of Pakistani film and drama industry. He has been the man behind many big shows like Mere Paas Tum Ho and Sadqay Tumharay. He is also known for his controversial opinions and he has beef with half the industry. He was a guest on Hasna Mana Hai and spoke about his fights with several stars.
Khalil ur Rehman Qamar addressed his tensions with Nauman Ijaz. He did not mince his words at all. He started out by saying that he has no “issues” with Nauman at all. He simply “hates” him and he will always hate him. This is not just about having tensions or disagreements. He was quite open about his hatred.

Mahira Khan is another big star whom he has a beef with. They had a very public falling out when she called him out on his fight with Marvi Sirmed. He has since maintained a very anti-Mahira stance which has softened in the past year or so. He spoke about his bond with her and where they both stand right now.
Khalil ur Rehman Qamar said that Mahira Khan is a great artist. They had a very respectful relationship and a friendship. He just cannot forgive her for the words she used. She could have disagreed with him but those words are what strained their equation. He added that he wishes that he will be able to forgive her for those words.
