Recently, Ayesha Omar shared important details regarding the production of Lazawal Ishq. She stated that the producers of the show are Turkish and that it is made for Urdu/ Pakistani audiences. She further added that female contestants have a separate space for sleeping.

Ayesha Omar wrote, “Lazawal Ishq Isn’t A Pakistani Production & Wasn’t Banned By Our Court. It is not a Pakistani show, but it has a Pakistani audience, including people in other countries who understand and speak Urdu. It’s an Urdu-language reality show about learning how to communicate, build relationships with peers and partners, and possibly find true love, with consenting adults. It was never meant for any television channel. No Pakistani production house was ever involved. It’s a Turkish production created by one of the biggest production houses. For those who haven’t seen the show yet and have assumed otherwise, female contestants/participants have their own sleeping dorms and dressing rooms, while male contestants have separate spaces as well.” Read her screenshots:

Social media users are bashing Ayesha Omar for defending the shameless concept of the show’s makers. One wrote that she is defending it “as if it is a religious show,” while another said she is talking “as if it’s a top-notch reality show.” Many criticized the producers for not hiring local talent in Turkey, claiming they are forcefully imposing obscenity on Pakistani culture through their production.
