It remains unclear how this sensor differs from the Redmi Note 14’s 108MP camera, but the Note 15 5G’s marketing is clearly centered around imaging performance.
Past leaks suggest the Redmi Note 15 5G will include a 6.83-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and will run on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. The device is said to come with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage.
Camera hardware reportedly consists of a 108MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 20MP front-facing camera.
Powering the device is a 5,520mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. Compared to its predecessor, the Note 15 5G is expected to bring a slightly larger display, a larger battery, and a new chipset.

Over 1000 Pakistani YouTubers Reached 1 Million Subscribers in 2025
YouTubers in Pakistan showed strong growth in 2025, with new data showcasing a surge of numbers for successful local channels and their global reach.
According to the figures, more than 95,000 Pakistani YouTube channels have surpassed 10,000 subscribers, which shows a broad and growing base of mid-sized creators on the platform. At a higher tier, over 13,000 channels in Pakistan have crossed the 100,000-subscriber mark, indicating sustained audience growth and engagement.
At the top end of the creator economy, more than 1,000 Pakistani channels have achieved one million or more subscribers, placing them among YouTube’s most successful creators globally.

Samsung is Working on a Major Camera Upgrade for Its Phones
The Samsung Galaxy S26 may not receive new camera hardware, but a report from South Korea suggests the Galaxy S27 series could bring a major upgrade. The report says Samsung is working on an all-new smartphone camera sensor with global shutter capabilities. It does not name a specific device, but it indicates the sensor could appear in the Galaxy S27 series.
Global shutter sensors differ from the more common rolling shutter sensors because they capture all pixels at once. This approach avoids warping or distortion, which makes global shutter sensors better at capturing moving subjects than rolling shutter sensors.
Global shutter sensors typically appear in professional cameras used for sports and in industrial settings, such as conveyor-belt quality inspection and machine vision.
Reported Sensor Specifications
According to the report, Samsung’s global shutter sensor uses 1.5 µm-sized pixels stacked in a 2×2 formation and offers a 12MP resolution. The 12MP resolution suggests Samsung could implement the sensor on either the telephoto or the ultrawide lens.
The report also says the sensor will include an embedded analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for its pixels, which allows faster image capture.
The report adds that Samsung is not the only company working to bring global shutter sensors to smartphones. Apple is also reportedly pushing to add the technology to its next-generation iPhones.
