Samsung Shows Galaxy S26 Ultra’s New Privacy Screen in Action
Samsung has demonstrated a first-of-its-kind privacy feature for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, showing how the display can hide content from side viewing angles while remaining clear to the user.
Last month, Samsung said it would introduce “a new layer of privacy” to the S26 Ultra. In a newly shared video, the company revealed how the feature works. When enabled, the screen appears black to anyone looking from the side, without affecting visibility for the person holding the phone.
Per Pixel Privacy Control
The feature, called Zero peeking privacy, can black out the entire display or only specific areas, similar to privacy screen protectors. Samsung says the phone has per-pixel control, allowing it to selectively hide sensitive content such as notifications while keeping the rest of the screen visible.
Users will be able to manage how the feature operates. It can be turned on or off manually, or set to activate automatically in certain situations, such as when the user goes outdoors.
Comparison With Laptop Privacy Screens
Some laptops already offer similar privacy tools. For example, HP markets its version as Sure View, while Lenovo calls its feature PrivacyGuard. However, those implementations apply to the full display and do not allow selective control over parts of the screen, unlike the S26 Ultra’s approach.
According to tipster Ice Universe, Apple is also interested in similar technology and may introduce it on MacBooks in 2029.
Launch Date
Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S26 series on February 25, which falls on a Wednesday next week.

JazzCash Recognized for Leading Islamabad International Airport’s Transition to a Fully Cashless Facility
Islamabad International Airport has officially been declared a Fully Digital Payment Enabled Facility, with JazzCash recognized at a ceremony for leading the airport’s transition to a completely cashless ecosystem.
The initiative, undertaken in collaboration with the Pakistan Airports Authority and the State Bank of Pakistan, marks a significant step in modernizing payment infrastructure at one of Pakistan’s most important national gateways in Line with Prime Minister’s Cashless economy initiative.
As part of the transformation, interoperable QR-based payment acceptance was embedded across passenger service counters, parking and retail outlets, supported by the deployment of smart payment devices including Soundbox solutions for real-time transaction confirmations. This infrastructure enables passengers to pay fees and charges digitally, reducing queue times, minimizing cash handling, and improving transparency and efficiency in airport operations.
Officials from the Pakistan Airports Authority noted that the shift enhances passenger convenience while aligning airport services with international digital standards. Representatives from the State Bank of Pakistan highlighted the importance of expanding digital payment acceptance across public infrastructure to strengthen trust and accelerate adoption nationwide.
The transition of Islamabad International Airport to a fully cashless environment reflects broader institutional momentum toward a cashless economy. By integrating secure and scalable digital payment rails into critical transit infrastructure, the initiative sets a benchmark for similar transformations across major airports and commercial hubs in Pakistan.
