Shamoon Abbasi is an actor, director and artist who is also known for his big takes on situations. He is also a father to one daughter. His relationship with his daughter Anzela Abbasi is in shambles and they have publicly fought through podcasts. Shamoon was a guest on Nadia Khan’s show and he spoke about his take on upbringing of children.

Shamoon Abbasi said that “Tarbiyat” is nothing. He said his daughter’s tarbiyat was handled by his ex-wife and he also had a certain input in it but it does not matter in the long run. A family who brings up several children and one of them becomes a criminal, so would the parents be responsible for their behaviour?

The actor went on to say that kids these days are not happy with lectures. They question you and judge you through actions. Thus only words cannot suffice them. We need to stop relying on tarbiyat and start showing kids with our actions.
