Ahmed Shehzad is an ace cricketer of Pakistan. He was a phenomenon with his very debut and he has not looked back since. But his career hit a low due to many controversies and politics that unfortunately exists in Pakistan Cricket. Ahmed Shehzad has spoken time and again about injustices he has faced but he has not slowed down. He is now working with his own foundation and he has given help to thousands during floods. He is also very blunt with his criticism and never shies away from calling out his colleagues for their bad performances. His son and wife also join him in his philanthropy.

Ahmed Shehzad was on panel on Hasna Mana Hai and he broke into tears while speaking about his career. He said that his son is 9 years old now and he wants to see him play. He was in tears while saying this and Tabish Hashmi came to console him.

Speaking about modern day red light areas, he said, “Currently, the whole of Defence has become Heera Mandi. All the people from Heera Mandi have moved there, and all the posh areas have turned into red-light zones, with activities being carried out openly. In older areas, such things were more hidden and kept within limits but in such areas, everything is open and obscene. By saying Heera Mandi has shifted to Defence, I mean you don’t even know who lives next to you. In the walled city of Lahore, everyone knows each other. You could walk the streets late at night, and no girl would face harassment. But in Defence, girls cannot roam freely—people tease them, boys chase them. In the walled city, you could wear any dress, and no one would dare stare. On Sundays, Delhi Gate is bustling, and both visitors and locals are treated with respect.” Here is the link to the video:
