Biryani Last Episode Public Reaction
Biryani is an ARY Digital prime-time drama series produced by Fahad Mustafa and Dr. Ali Kazmi under the banner of Big Bang Productions. It is written by senior Pakistani writer Zafar Mairaj—who previously penned Kabli Pulao and Dampukht—and directed by Cheekh-fame Badar Mehmood. The story follows a young married landlord who falls in love with an educated, lively girl he meets at university. The cast includes Ramsha Khan, Khushhal Khan, Sarwat Gilani, Yousaf Bashir Qureshi, Javed Rizvi, Mahnoor Parvez, Farzana Munir, Laila Wasti, and several others.
ARY Digital aired a total of 35 episodes, and today marked the finale of Biryani. The drama ended on a happy note. Nisa and Meeran were reunited after Gul Meher convinced Meeran’s father to accept their relationship. In the end, Nisa and Meeran returned to take Gul Meher with them, but she refused to become a part of their lives.
Surprisingly, Biryani viewers are criticizing the drama’s happy ending. Nisa and Meeran’s characters are receiving severe backlash, while Gul Meher and Rashid are receiving praise. Fans are also calling the overall storyline weak. One fan wrote, “I can’t believe the makers of this show also created dramas like Kabli Pulao and Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum.” Another said, “They did exactly what we expected—turned Rashid into a villain just to justify Nisa.” Another user wrote, “Gul Meher deserved a happy ending with Meeran, as Nisa was unsuitable for their family and was a selfish person who came into Meeran’s life after Gul Meher.” One viewer commented, “Gul Meher was Meeran’s official wife; why did she feel guilty and was betrayed in the end?” Meeran is also facing criticism for choosing Nisa over Gul Meher. A fan wrote, “It seemed like this Biryani was cooked by a beginner.” Read all the comments below:
