Marina Khan on Critiquing Tanhaiyan & Ankahi on Kya Drama Hai
Marina Khan is a senior Pakistani television actor and director, recognized for her hit drama serials. She is also praised for her direction, and her recent work as a director received appreciation in Dastak. The actor rose to prominence in the 1980s with her iconic roles in classic PTV dramas such as Tanhaiyaan, Dhoop Kinare, and Nijaat. Her other notable dramas include Dilruba, Aulad, Yahya, Bandish, and Kohar. She is currently judging Pakistani actors’ performances in the TV review show Kya Drama Hai.
Marina Khan recently appeared in Tabish Hashmi’s comedy show Hasna Mana Hai Ramzan special. In the interview, she talked about critiquing classics like Tanhaiyaan and Ankahi on Kya Drama Hai.
Talking about it, Marina Khan said, “It’s very interesting because if you watch Ankahi and Tanhaiyaan, you will notice the language, the humor, the Urdu, acting, and even what they used to wear—it all seems perfect. I don’t know how you see it, but for us, they felt like our family members. Also, I don’t know about flaws, but there must be many if you watch carefully. For example, junior actors sometimes acted poorly, and even I, as a junior, used to overdo laughter at times. It’s an interesting question. I really haven’t thought about how I would critique Ankahi and Tanhaiyaan or other old PTV classics, but it would be interesting to critique them on the show Kya Drama Hai.

Laiba Khan Opens Up About Age Gap With Husband
Laiba Khan is a gorgeous and talented Pakistani television actress, admired for her back-to-back hit dramas. Fans love her charming screen presence and convincing acting skills in challenging roles. She was recently praised for her performances in Geo TV’s hit serials Mohra and Humraaz. Laiba Khan boasts a strong Instagram following of over 4 million fans. Her other notable dramas include Kaffara, Aas Pas, and Baylagaam. She is currently shooting for her upcoming drama serial. Laiba Khan recently got married to Jawad in a grand wedding that went viral on social media, featuring a long series of memorable events.
Recently, Laiba Khan appeared on Nida Yasir’s Ramzan show Shaan-e-Sahoor, where she opened up about the age gap with her husband.
Talking about the age gap, Laiba Khan said,“Jawad and I have a significant age difference. Girls often say they want a partner with a good body and looks, and I used to think the same when I was younger. Over time, I changed my mind after seeing problems in relationships where partners were chosen only for youth or good appearance. I believe men take longer to mature compared to women, and I always thought my husband should be older and experienced than me who has all the exposure. I saw these qualities in Jawad—he has devoted his whole life to his family and has never done anything solely for himself. I noticed his caring nature and that’s when I agreed to marry him.” Watch here:

Maulana Sheharyar on Sarah Omair Praising Ex-husband
Ramzan transmission is among the most popular sources of instant Islamic knowledge for viewers, because of the presence of Muftis and scholars in each program. Some of the recent popular Muftis include Maulana Azad Jamil, Maulana Sheharyar Daood, and a few others. Maulana Syed Sheheryar Daood is an excellent scholar who gained popularity through last year’s Green Entertainment Ramzan transmission. This year, he is appearing on both Green Entertainment and 365 Entertainment.
Recently, Mufti Syed Sheheryar Daood shared his thoughts on Sarah Omair praising her husband after their divorce, in response to a question from viewers.
Speaking on the matter, Mufti Sheheryar Daood said, “I was asked whether it is appropriate for a woman to praise her husband after divorce because recently an actress was found doing so. According to Islamic teachings, a husband and wife share a respectful and significant relationship, as it was the first relationship established on earth, through which generations were created. The Quran emphasizes that both men and women should treat each other well. There is a particular responsibility on men not to hurt women, as in most cases, women are hurt due to men’s actions. The Quran also describes men and women as “each other’s garments,” symbolizing protection, beauty, covering flaws, and keeping secrets. The same principles apply to Nikah. Therefore, it is acceptable to praise a husband and to maintain each other’s dignity during the marriage. However, after divorce, it is not appropriate for an ex-wife to excessively praise her former husband; she should let go, move on, and focus on her own life.” Watch here:
