The actor often makes headlines when her cosmetic surgeries are discussed by television or digital media hosts.
A few months ago, a dermatologist claimed that Hania Aamir might have undergone dimpleplasty to enhance her dimples. This claim was later clarified by her first cousin.
Taking to Facebook, her cousin Noreen Shaad wrote,
“As Hania Amir’s first cousin and a close family relative, I feel it is important to clarify the false information being widely shared on YouTube and Instagram. Hania Amir’s dimples and fair complexion are completely natural. They are not the result of any surgery or cosmetic procedure. She has been naturally pretty and cute since childhood, which is evident from her school, college, and university photographs.”
She further added that Hania entered the media industry at the age of 18, starting her career with her debut film Janaan. Over the last 10 years, she has naturally grown into her features and followed a normal aging process. She also clarified that Hania was born in Karachi, not Rawalpindi, did not come from a poor background, and that all rumors about her marriage are false. Read her post below:
Social media users have shared mixed reactions, with some saying that Hania Aamir is naturally beautiful but may have undergone cosmetic procedures, which they believe are obvious. Fans are also asking her cousin to reveal Hania Aamir’s wedding date instead of clarifying rumors about her surgeries. Reporter Zain Malik Loses Life in Fatal Fall From Roof
Lahore residents are celebrating the Basant festival this week. The celebrations are scheduled from February 6th to 8th, after the provincial government lifted an 18-year ban on kite flying. The authorities shared important SOPs and safety measures and also urged the participants to follow them, however, despite these precautions, tragedies related to Basant are still occurring.
In an unfortunate incident on Sunday in Lahore, young sports journalist Zain Malik tragically lost his life after falling from the fourth floor while flying a kite. Zain Malik, who was a reporter for GNN, was quite enthusiastic about Basant; he was fully participating in the celebrations. During kite flying, he fell from the rooftop of a building in Gulshan-e-Ravi on the final day of Basant. He was immediately rushed to the government-affiliated Mian Munshi District Headquarters Hospital, where he succumbed to the head injuries sustained from the fall.
Watch the video:
Social media users have extended prayers for his soul but are also criticizing the Basant festival as a major cause of such accidents. Many have called out participants who ignore SOPs, pointing out that the walled city of Lahore is chaotically constructed, with rooftops that are particularly dangerous for kite flying. People celebrating Basant are often blindly chasing kites, putting their lives at risk. Read comments:

Juvaria Abbasi on Early Marriage, Divorce Decision & Raising Her Daughter Alone
Juvaria Abbasi is a renowned television actor who began her acting career with PTV. Her notable dramas include Taana Baana, Raqs-e-Bismil, Dil Dia Dehleez, Sukhaan, Najiah, Aakhir Kab Tak, Ghissi Phitti Muhabbat, Baban Khala Ki Betiyan, Dil Diya Dehleez, Shehnai, Budgumaan, and Bay Qasoor. Currently, fans are praising her performance in the hit drama series Meri Zindagi Hai Tu.
Juvaria Abbasi recently appeared in Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast Excuse Me. In the podcast, she opened up about her early marriage, divorce, and being a single mother.
Talking about her marriage with Shamoon, Juvaria Abbasi said, “l got married early. I have no regrets about marrying Shamoon. It was my decision because I was madly and sadly in love with the person I got married to. No regrets, whatsoever. Also, I have a beautiful daughter from him. We saw our personal growth as humans. We don’t have any personal grudges. We had a great time together. I also have no regrets on my divorce decision. It was solely my decision.”
On another occasion, she said, “I wanted to be an actor, and that’s why I got married early. In fact, we both got married early because we wanted to start our careers as actors, and my parents had told me to do whatever together after getting married.”
Talking about being a single mom, she said, “Being a single mom was the biggest challenge—a social taboo. People would think, ‘Can she raise her daughter? Will she be able to do this job perfectly? Will she turn her daughter into a rebel?’ People were more concerned than me. My point of view was to give her education, exposure, make her learn Islam, and give her the right to decide what’s her choice in life. For me, it was important what my daughter wants as a human. I was thinking of her as an independent human; she was not just my daughter. I think our parents suppressed us—’Don’t talk like that,’ ‘Don’t be blunt in front of others.’ I didn’t want that to happen with my daughter. I had to teach, and I did that.”
She further added, “I tried not to be an absent mother or father. I was present in her life both as mother and father. I gave her a good education. I was following up her routine closely. I was dealing with her as both parents. I was doing hard work. I tried to spend time with her—when is she going to school, when is she taking Quran classes, when is she going for belly classes, watching movies with her, teaching her solo traveling. We have made single motherhood a dilemma. We think a single mother can’t survive.”
Talking about Anzela’s relationship with her father, she said, “Initially, we were concerned about Anzela’s relationship with her father, but it ended on its own. Although I never stopped Anzela from meeting him because I knew his importance in her life. I wanted her to meet her father and see on her own because I come from a broken family. I only met my father thrice in my whole life, so I don’t know who he is, his character, or how he looks. The last I met him was after my accident; after that, I don’t know how he is. I got married at 17 and had my own life. We both didn’t try meeting. He is alive. This is the first time I talked about this.”

Naeema Butt Pulled Off-Air After Mentioning Islamabad Tragedy
Pakistani media and celebrities are currently facing severe public backlash for celebrating the Basant festival amid ongoing unrest and tragic incidents occurring across Pakistan. Many of these incidents have resulted in heavy death tolls; yet despite the human loss, celebrities have been seen dancing to Bhangra songs while wearing vibrant colours. Pakistani media outlets have also been giving special coverage to Basant.
Recently, amid the insensitive attitude of celebrities, Naeema Butt expressed grief over the Islamabad tragedy after Geo News pulled her off-air.
While responding to a question about how Basant feels, Naeema said, “It’s a great event, to be very honest, but I recently saw a video from Islamabad which really upset me. Just a day ago we were celebrating Basant, and now….” As she was completing her sentence, Huma Amir Shah immediately cut her off on Geo News while she was seated with Abdullah Sultan. Huma Amir Shah said, “Mubashir Hashmi, let’s just move on because there has been an interruption in your audio, and we have a lot to discuss.” Watch here:
Huma Amir Shah is facing criticism for her insensitive behaviour. One user wrote, “Shame on the news anchor. ‘We have a lot to talk’ — shame!” Another wrote, “Curse upon the media for showing a one-sided picture of Pakistan on the media.” One digital user stated, “The issue is not ‘audio mein nahi,’ it’s your mentality and your upbringing.” Another commented, “How shameful. They are not covering important events.” Another wrote, “This is the true representation of our media. They only report what benefits them, and the credit for this also goes to Musharraf.” A netizen stated, “I left watching GEO way earlier. I’m glad that was the right decision.” Another wrote, “The anchor and her audacity — she is the one who blamed the woman who fell into the manhole because the tragedy didn’t serve the channel.” Naeema Butt, on the other hand, is receiving huge public praise for showing empathy towards the victims.
