Published

on

A couple of days ago, Redmi started its teaser campaign for the upcoming Note 15 5G. The company revealed the phone has a 108MP main camera, the same as its predecessor.

Redmi has now confirmed the Note 15 5G will include a 5,520 mAh battery. This capacity previously appeared in rumors, and Redmi has now backed it. Redmi also says the battery is 410 mAh larger than the Redmi Note 14 5G’s.

The battery will support 45W wired charging. Redmi claims the phone will last 1.6 days of usage.

The company also promises “up to 5 years battery life,” which is assumed to mean it may take that long before the battery degrades below 80% of its initial capacity.

Past rumors and retailer listings suggest the Redmi Note 15 5G may feature a 6.83-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage.

The same leaks also mention an 8MP ultrawide camera alongside the 108MP main camera, plus a 20MP selfie camera.
