iPhone Fold Displays and Camera Setup Detailed in New Report

Published

on

Apple is expected to enter the foldable smartphone segment next year with a device widely referred to as the iPhone Fold, although its final product name has not yet been confirmed. New details about the device have now surfaced through a post on Weibo by known leakster Digital Chat Station.

Authentication and Form Factor

According to the leak, the iPhone Fold will use a side mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The report suggests that Apple will not include Face ID on the device, nor will it rely on an under display fingerprint scanner. The setup aligns with the book style foldable design used by most foldable smartphones currently on the market.

Display Details

The leak also outlines the screen sizes for both displays. The main folding display is said to measure 7.58 inches diagonally and will reportedly feature an under display selfie camera. The outer cover screen is tipped to measure 5.25 inches and will include a hole punch cutout for the front facing camera.

Camera Setup

On the rear, the iPhone Fold is expected to feature a dual camera system. At least one of the rear sensors is said to offer 48MP resolution. No further details about the secondary camera have been shared at this stage.

Market Expectations

Industry analysts have previously suggested that Apple’s entry into the foldable segment could bring renewed attention to the category. If the current timeline holds, the iPhone Fold is expected to arrive in 2026, with its impact on the broader foldable smartphone market becoming clearer after launch.

Easy Apple to Android Transfer is Finally Official

Published

on

Apple has started rolling out the first beta of iOS 26.3, just days after releasing iOS 26.2 to the public. The new beta introduces several changes, most notably a built-in tool to move data from an iPhone to an Android device and expanded notification support for third-party wearables.

This is the first time we are getting a built-in data transfer tool to move between Apple and Android devices.

The new native tool allows users to move apps, photos, contacts, messages, and other data directly from an iPhone to an Android device. To begin the transfer, both devices need to be connected to the same wireless network.

Unlike previous solutions, this feature is integrated directly into iOS and does not require users to download any separate apps.

Notification Forwarding

Another major change in iOS 26.3 is the introduction of Notification Forwarding, though the feature is currently limited to users in the European Union. It allows third-party wearables to receive notifications from an iPhone.

Users can enable the feature by navigating to Settings, then Notifications, and selecting Notification Forwarding. Once enabled, users can choose which apps are allowed to send notifications to their wearable device.

The feature only supports a single device at a time. If an Apple Watch is already connected to the iPhone, notification forwarding to a third-party wearable will not be available. Apple introduced this change in response to the European Union’s Digital Markets Act, which requires broader access to core iOS system features.

Weather Wallpaper Changes

iOS 26.3 Beta 1 also updates the Weather wallpaper experience. The wallpaper now appears in its own dedicated section within the Lock Screen customization menu, making it easier to find and manage.

Apple is expected to release the final version of iOS 26.3 in January.

Jazz Reiterates Commitment to Digital Safety During Cybersecurity Awareness Session with PTA

Published

Jazz hosted a special cybersecurity awareness session as part of Cybersecurity Awareness Week 2025, reiterating its commitment to strengthening digital safety and promoting responsible online practices across Pakistan. The session brought together senior leadership, employees, and national regulators to underscore the growing importance of cybersecurity in an increasingly connected digital ecosystem.

The session opened with welcome remarks by Syed Zaheer Mehdi, Group Chief Corporate & Regulatory Affairs at Jazz, who set the context by highlighting the evolving cyber threat landscape and the shared responsibility of organisations like Jazz, a leading digital operator in Pakistan, in safeguarding digital spaces.

Brigadier Dr. Mukarram, Director General Cyber Vigilance at the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), emphasized the need for proactive awareness, strong institutional frameworks, and stakeholder coordination to counter rising cyber risks such as deepfakes and AI-generated personas, particularly in a rapidly digitising society. He stated that the telecom sector comprises a sizeable portion of the country’s cyberspace and remains one of the most secure sectors.

Jazz’s leadership stressed the critical role of cybersecurity in protecting customers, infrastructure, and data, while empowering employees with the knowledge and awareness required to operate safely in today’s evolving digital environment. The session was attended in person by employees from across the organisation, reflecting Jazz’s company-wide focus on cybersecurity awareness.

The discussion concluded with closing remarks by Khalid Shehzad, Chief Technology Officer at Jazz, who highlighted the importance of integrating security-by-design principles into technology and operations rather than focusing solely on network expansion. The session was followed by a vote of thanks acknowledging the speakers and stakeholders.

Cybersecurity awareness also remains an integral part of Jazz’s communication strategy and narrative building. With strong leadership commitment and close collaboration with national regulators, Jazz continues to build a vigilant, empowered, and cyber-ready network and workforce, strengthening Pakistan’s digital resilience and safety.
