Xiaomi’s 27″ 120Hz IPS Monitor With 2K Resolution Starts Under $180
Xiaomi has introduced a refreshed version of its affordable 27-inch QHD monitor, the Xiaomi A27Qi.
The original A27Qi debuted in Europe last year as a budget option aimed at work and general use. The 2026 model keeps the same overall design and specifications but introduces targeted improvements.
Display and Core Specifications
The updated A27Qi remains a 27-inch IPS monitor with a 2560 × 1440 resolution.
It offers a brightness rating of 300 nits, a 6ms grey to grey response time, and 178-degree viewing angles typical of IPS panels.
Color coverage remains unchanged at 100 percent sRGB and 95 percent DCI P3, with 8-bit color depth. The monitor also includes TÜV Rheinland-certified low blue light support and DC dimming for reduced eye strain during extended use.
Key Improvements
The 2026 model now features factory calibration with ΔE less than 1, improving out-of-the-box color accuracy. This enhancement is particularly relevant for tasks such as photo editing, design, and content creation.
Contrast ratio has increased to 1,300 to 1, which should provide slightly deeper blacks and improved detail in darker scenes compared to the previous version.
Refresh rate has also been raised to 120Hz, up from 100Hz on the earlier model. The higher refresh rate is expected to deliver smoother scrolling, interface animations, and light gaming performance.
Pricing and Availability
The monitor has launched in Thailand at THB 4,990, which is approximately $159 at current exchange rates. This represents an increase of around THB 100 over the previous generation.
Xiaomi has not confirmed availability in other markets. However, given the rollout pattern of the earlier model, broader availability may follow.
