Khaqan Shahnawaz is a renowned Pakistani digital creator turned actor, known for his hit dramas such as College Gate, Yunhi, Sukoon, My Dear Cinderella, and Very Filmy. Khaqan Shahnawaz will soon appear in drama series Sazawaar which will air on ARY Digital. He recently made headlines after announcing his engagement to talented Pakistani actress Sabeena Saeed, who is known for her roles in Muqaddar, Yakeen Ka Safar, Dobara, and Ek Aur Love Story.

Recently, Sabeena Saeed was nominated in one of the Best Digital Creator categories, which she did not win. Khaqan Shahnawaz shared a video capturing his fiancée’s reaction while the nominations were being announced on stage. He captioned the video, “She thought she was going to win the award.” The clip was later reposted by several social media pages, where netizens labeled Khaqan Shahnawaz a “red flag” and suggested that Sabeena Saeed should “run.” Here is the video:

In response to the criticism, both Sabeena and Khaqan made a video together in which Khaqan Shahnawaz said that the caption was suggested by Sabeena and he even warned her of the upcoming criticism and the mindset on social media.
