Saife Hassan is a seasoned Pakistani television actor and director who began his acting career in theatre. His television debut was in Sahira Kazmi’s drama series Zaib un Nissa, which aired on Pakistan Television. Saife’s notable dramas include Ghisi Piti Mohabbat, Aas Paas, and Teri Raza. As a director, he is widely admired for his exceptional work, with major hits such as Ehd e Wafa, Sang e Mar Mar, Sang e Mah, Zard Patton Ka Bunn, and Tan Mann Neel o Neel. He was recently praised for the horror-comedy play Jinn Ki Shadi Unki Shadi.

Saife Hassan appeared as a guest on the Ramzan special of Hasna Mana Hai, hosted by Tabish Hashmi. During the show, he opened up about Atif Aslam’s demand before arriving at the location of Sang e Mah.

Talking about it, Saife Hassan said, “We were shooting the drama series Sang e Mah in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, at a place called Dhadhar, when Atif Aslam’s team called us and asked if we had arranged a vanity van for him. We were already shooting on a tight budget. It wasn’t that Sang e Mah was a low-budget project, but arranging a vanity van in that area was quite difficult. Still, we told them we had managed it. The next day, Atif was scheduled to arrive, so we arranged a room. In fact, we converted a cow stable into a dressing room for him. We rented the stable, got it cleaned, painted, carpeted, and turned it into a nice dressing room within 24 hours. We told him we couldn’t arrange a vanity van in the area but had prepared a dressing room instead. He didn’t even know what it originally was. Later, I told him it had been a cow shed, and he really enjoyed it. Atif is a very down-to-earth and friendly person.”

During the heated exchange, the female lawyer allegedly hit the male lawyer, which escalated the situation. After being struck, the male lawyer reportedly retaliated, and the argument turned into physical violence. Social media users have expressed disappointment, stating that the spirit of Ramzan Mubarak is not being respected in Pakistan where every day, a new conflict breaks out among people, and such incidents are also widely shared and debated online. Some users wrote that the incident was provoked by the woman and that she should not have first hit him which escalated the matter. Others argued that although the woman may have hit first, the man should have avoided hitting back and should have handled the situation more responsibly.
