OPPO has officially launched the Reno 15 Series in Pakistan, confirming the availability of three new smartphones: OPPO Reno15 Pro, OPPO Reno15, and OPPO Reno15 F. The devices were unveiled at a launch event held at the Expo Centre in Lahore and are now available for pre-order through official OPPO retailers and online platforms across the country.

The Oppo Reno 15 Pro is currently going for around Rs. 229,999 through online retailers in Pakistan.

The Reno 15 Series introduces updated hardware, new camera systems, larger batteries, and OPPO’s latest software, ColorOS 16.0.  Here are the details.

Design and Display

All three phones have 120Hz AMOLED screens with HDR10+ and 1B color support, but with slightly varying screen resolution and brightness numbers.

The OPPO Reno 15 Series features a new Aurora-inspired design, with finishes that change appearance under different lighting conditions. All three models come with high-grade water and dust resistance, rated at IP66, IP68, and IP69, allowing the phones to withstand splashes, dust exposure, and water immersion.

OPPO has also included Splash Touch technology, enabling touch responsiveness even when the screen is wet, useful for outdoor use and photography in challenging environments.

Internals and Software

All three phones come with different chipsets. The vanilla Reno 15 features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (4 nm), while the Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15F come with Mediatek Dimensity 8450 (4 nm) and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (4 nm), respectively. You can have up to 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM with these phones.

The Reno 15 Series runs on ColorOS 16.0. The software introduces:

  • Luminous Rendering Engine for smoother system animations
  • Trinity Engine for performance and power optimization
  • AI-based system tools, including AI Translate, AI Recording, AI Call Assistant, and AI VoiceScribe
  • AI Mind Space, which allows users to organize notes and ideas using a three-finger swipe gesture

Connectivity features include O+ Connect for fast file sharing between compatible devices.

Cameras

Camera hardware varies across the lineup, with OPPO placing a strong focus on zoom, resolution, and video recording:

  • OPPO Reno15 Pro features a 200MP main camera
  • OPPO Reno15 and Reno15 F are equipped with a 50MP 3.5x telephoto cameras
  • All models support up to 120x digital zoom
  • A 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera is included across the series
  • 4K video recording is supported on both front and rear cameras

Additional camera software features include AI Motion Photo Eraser, AI Motion Photo Slow-Mo, AI Portrait Glow, and motion-based pop-out effects for layered photo compositions.

Battery and Pricing

Battery capacities differ across the three models:

  • Reno15 Pro: 6,200mAh battery
  • Reno15: 6,500mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging
  • Reno15 F: 7,000mAh battery

OPPO has confirmed that the phones are available for pre-order in Pakistan, but official retail prices have not yet been announced for every model. Pricing is expected to vary by model and storage configuration.

For now, we know that the Oppo Reno 15 Pro is currently going for around Rs. 229,999, which means that the vanilla and F variants should be cheaper.
