According to news reports, the actress and her husband have been booked on charges of human smuggling. Her husband, Jahanzeb, was arrested in Lahore for allegedly taking large sums of money from people with the promise of settling them abroad. Reports suggest he defrauded thousands of immigrants during the scheme. According to police, the suspect reportedly showed resistance during the investigation. Police claim Deedar was also involved in these fraudulent activities, allegedly operating offices in Lahore to facilitate her husband’s scam business. Authorities are currently searching for her. Deedar’s husband was arrested after several raids at his home because he initially resisted the custody attempt. According to police, Deedar was shivering during the raids. So far, the couple has made 250 million rupees through this scam.
