Realme P4 Power Brings One of The Biggest Batteries Ever On a Mainstream Smartphone
Realme has introduced the P4 Power, marking the company’s first smartphone to ship with a 10,000mAh-class battery. The device actually packs a 10,001mAh unit and arrives less than a year after Realme showcased an early prototype with a similar battery capacity.
Design and Display
Despite its unusually large battery, the Realme P4 Power measures 9.08mm in thickness and weighs 219g. This makes it only 11g heavier than the Realme P4x, which carries a smaller 7,000mAh battery and a thinner 8.4mm profile.
On the front, the P4 Power features a 6.8-inch quad-curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel offers a resolution of 1,280 x 2,800 pixels and can reach peak brightness levels of up to 6,500 nits. The Realme P4 Power is available in Flash Orange and Power Silver. Both color options feature a two-part rear design, with a matte lower section housing the battery and a transparent upper portion that reveals internal elements such as the NFC coil.
Internals and Software
The phone runs on the Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, supported by a thermal setup that includes a 4,613mm² vapor chamber and a large 13,743mm² graphite sheet to manage heat during sustained workloads.
Out of the box, the Realme P4 Power ships with Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0. Software support is limited to three years of operating system updates, along with an additional year of security patches. While the battery is designed to remain close to its original capacity long after that period, both software support and long-term chipset performance are expected to be limiting factors over extended use.
Cameras
Camera hardware remains similar to the standard Realme P4. The rear setup is led by a 50MP main camera using the Sony IMX882 sensor, paired with an f/1.8 lens and optical image stabilization. It supports 4K video recording at 30fps and includes a Night Portrait Bokeh mode.
Alongside it is an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 112-degree field of view. On the front, the phone features a 16MP selfie camera with an 85-degree field of view.
Battery and Pricing
The main highlight of the Realme P4 Power is its 10,001mAh next-generation Silicon-Carbon battery. Realme claims the battery can retain at least 80% of its original capacity after eight years of use and is rated for 1,650 charge cycles.
Charging is handled via 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, which can take the battery to 50% in about 36 minutes. USB PD PPS chargers are supported at up to 55W. The phone also supports 27W reverse charging and can charge an iPhone 16 Pro to 50% in around 27 minutes.
Pricing details were not disclosed in the provided information.
