TCL |K70 Power| Claims |Three Days of Use| On a Single Charge
TCL has quietly expanded its K-series lineup with two new 4G smartphones, the TCL K70 and TCL K70 Power. A third variant, believed to be called the K70 SE, has also surfaced, although only limited details about that model are available.
The TCL K70 Power has appeared on Lazada Thailand, making it the better-documented of the two devices. Here are the details.
Design and Display
The TCL K70 Power features a 6.8-inch LCD with a resolution of 720 × 1,570 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel includes a sunlight mode that allows peak brightness to reach up to 750 nits. An 8-megapixel front-facing camera is placed in a punch-hole cutout at the top of the screen.
The phone carries an IP64 rating for splash resistance. It also includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
The TCL K70 uses the same 6.8-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 720p+ resolution. A user manual for the device is available on TCL’s official website, although the phone has not yet appeared in major retail stores.
The K70 Power is available in two color options: Nebula Blue and Space Gray.
Internals and Software
The TCL K70 Power runs on the MediaTek Helio G100 Turbo chipset. It is offered in two memory configurations, with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM. Both variants include 256GB of internal storage.
The device uses a hybrid card slot, allowing users to choose between dual SIM support or a single SIM card paired with a microSD card.
The TCL K70 is also powered by the Helio G100 chipset. So far, only one configuration has been listed, which includes 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Connectivity features on the K70 Power include Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC. The phone is limited to 4G network support and uses a USB-C port with USB 2.0 data speeds.
Cameras
The TCL K70 Power includes a single 50-megapixel rear camera. A second rear lens is present, but it functions as a supporting sensor rather than a full secondary camera.
On the front, the phone uses an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Camera specifications for the TCL K70 have not been detailed beyond what is shown in the user manual and third-party listings.
Battery and Pricing
Battery capacity is a key difference between the two models. The TCL K70 Power is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging. According to official estimates, the phone can last up to three days on a single charge, deliver more than 12 hours of gaming, or provide up to 21 hours of video playback.
The TCL K70 uses a smaller 5,200mAh battery.
The 4GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at approximately $415. The 8GB RAM version is listed at approximately $445.
