Faisal Rehman is a senior superstar who started his career in films when he was just 14 years old. He went on to star in hundreds of films and later successfully transitioned to television. The actor has since been appearing in dramas and he is always seen in very unique characters. He was a guest on Shan e Suhoor and spoke about his career choices at this stage.

Faisal Rehman has been appearing in more senior roles but he is not usually seen playing the generic hero or heroine’s dad. He shared what is his issue with playing the hero’s father and his point makes complete sense to the audience who wants to see more of him on TV.

Faisal Rehman said he has no issue with playing a hero’s father but the role needs to meaty. The father needs to have a proper place in the script and he needs to do at least something on the show. He does not understand when he gets offered characters which are fillers and have nothing to do in the story.

He revealed that he is a father to just one daughter who is his soul mate.

He revealed that his wife died around 27-28 years ago when his daughter was just a child. He then focused his energies on raising her and never got married again. She now lives in Sweden after marriage and she is a doctor. He shared that his mother and sisters helped him in raising his daughter. Now, his daughter wants him to marry again so he does not remain alone.
