Asma Abbas is a senior Pakistani television artist known for her excellent acting and hosting . Her hit dramas include Dumpukht, GT Road, Akbari Asghari, Khumaar, Daldal, Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, Chupke Chupke, Chaudhary and Sons, Radd and others. Asma Abbas was recently praised in Mann Jogi, Baby Baji ki Bahuwain and Dastak. Nowadays, she is hosting a Punjabi show Punjabi Kuriyaan. She is also a regular digital creator who posts vlogs on her Official YouTube channel.

In her recent vlog, Asma Abbas opened up about why she refused her doctor for ozempic and Mounjaro after his prescription.

Talking about it, Asma Abbas said,“My diabetes fluctuates a lot because obviously I am ageing and my health issues are increasing. I recently went to my doctor Imtiaz Hussain, he is a competent doctor who specially gives me time when I visit Lahore. He did my tests which were a little disturbed. So! He suggested me to start injecting ozempic and Mounjaro because I have my cravings and I feel hungry all the time because of diabetes. I only love to eat rotis and paratha, which contain the most sugar. He prescribed me Mounjaro which I refused, I said, ‘don’t give me Mounjaro, my skin will sag and my face will be dropped, also my neck will loosen up. Now, I look old but after Mounjaro I will look very skinny old person, I don’t want to look like a skinny old person, I would rather age gracefully on a natural pace. I have now decided to reduce my weight through walk which I have already started.” Here is the link to the video:

She just got hitched to Ameer Gilani and then she shot for this drama. Mawra in real life lives with her in-laws. Her parents-in-law and sister-in-law live with her. Mawra Hocane said that if the joint family is good or not is not a straight-forward question to answer. She is living in the joint family system as her in-laws are very supportive of her career. She cannot imagine living without them but for others if the environment becomes toxic then living in a joint family would not be a good idea.

Mawra Hocane said that Jama Taqseem is neither supporting joint family system nor opposing it. It is just showing both sides. She added that all the characters are reaping what they sowed. It is the karma of their own doing. It has nothing to do with what the family system is.
